About
The Solidarity Institute is a national organization, currently residing at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, CA, that produces research, events, and projects to connect diverse communities in a collective vision for social justice. We have engaged in this work organizationally since 2002.
Our work is informed by the People’s Institute, the Center for Third World Organizing, the Challenging White Supremacy workshop, the Catalyst Project, the Alliance of White Anti-Racists Everywhere – Los Angeles, and the Department of American Studies & Ethnicity at USC.
We have received recognition from the Ford Foundation, the Harry S. Truman Foundation, Bloomsbury Press, Greenwood Press, the Associated Press, NBC, ABC, Current TV, MTV Networks, Complex magazine, and various universities including Yale University, the University of Minnesota, and the University of Southern California.
Check us out and let us know if we can be of service to your organization or community.
